‘Use it or Lose it’ - A Message from Cllr Graham Wright

Wiltshire Council is set to go ahead and close the Bulford Bridge, the main artery between Durrington and Bulford; this 7.5 month bridge closure is due to start in May 2010 and will negatively impact on our village businesses. Start today and make full use of local businesses. If we don’t, then ultimately, we stand to lose some of our local services.

‘Use it or Lose It!’ We must now all think twice before we use any services or shop outside our village. You have the power to help our local businesses and, with your support, they can ride through this difficult period, it’s up to you!

Gunners Give Rosie’s NEW Barber Shop a Flying Start

Rosie’s new Barbers Shop which is located at the junction of Bulford Rd and Windsor Rd, Durrington was formally opened on the 29th September. The Flying Gunners Royal Artillery Motor Cycle Display Team were delighted to attend the opening and their team leader Steve Marsh cut the ribbon, whilst customers and members of the public enjoy the excitement of the moment. Rosie has moved to new premises because she wanted to employ more people within the successful Durrington business. Rosie wishes to thank all her existing clients for their support and welcome all new clients to the ‘Durrington Barber’s experience’. Below are the Flying Gunners with Rosie and her Barbers Shop Team ‘ready for action’.
