On
Sunday Durrington Village show shone through the showers and
raised over £2k for Air Ambulance and local charities.
Vehicle exhibitors braved the early morning heavy rain ready
to show off their magnificent vintage vehicles and local organisations
set up their Gazebos in windy wet conditions.
By
11am the sun started to shine and the show went on as normal.
This years show had more attractions than before and the belly
dancers, gun dog display, wood carving, baby and dog shows
were complimented by a musical display by Durrington Walls
Wind Band, Loud and Proud, Raise the Roof and rock group Dust
and Gasoline.
The
event was a great success and was an excellent family day
out. Thanks to all those Stewards who helped and the Town
Council but especially John Todd the event organiser. Roll
on next year
