LITTER PICK

The 3rd Durrington litter pick took place on September 25th. Although it was organised by the W.I. it was supported by 36 villagers in all, including 9 children, and the council

Armed with bright tabbards, strong gloves, maps and some llitter pickers, groups set off in different directions to cover all areas of the village, and worked hard to make it look spick and span.

It was a lovely sunny morning, and with good company we were soon back at the village hall, all agreeing that the litter had not been as bad as in previous years, but we were all glad to have a cup of coffee ready for us on our return served by Wendy and Primrose.

Thanks to all who attended and we hope it will be the same time next year? maybe more would like to join us for this worthwhile event .
