The
magnificent Friendship Play Park was officially opened on
Friday the 14th of October; it was an opportunity for the
Larkhill Community Partnership to thank their funders for
their generous contributions of over £155,000 for the
supply and installation of this innovative play park.
At
the formal reception, thanks were given to the whole Larkhill
Community Partnership team and special thanks go to the Project
leader, Mrs Liz Murray; Chair of the partnership, Cllr Graham
Wright, Durrington Town Council and the Larkhill Garrison.
Unfortunately,
due to the recent dry spell, the park will not be fully open
for all to enjoy until the turf consolidates. The Partnership
extends their thanks to local youngsters who are waiting so
patiently for the full opening of their park.
